The rising sign (also known as the ascending sign) is the sign of the constellation that was dominant on the eastern horizon the very moment you were born. While the sun sign is quite easy to find, you need to know your exact moment of birth to pinpoint this location in your chart. Place of birth is also quite important because a new sign rises on the Earth’s horizon approximately every 2 hours. So this little detail will explain why all signs aren’t alike and each sing has peculiar little quirks that make them different from the rest.
The ascendant energy rules the first house, which rules how you know yourself which is the house of self. So, in order to find your rising sign, you will need your birth certificate. This certificate of birth will have your exact time of birth and you will then be able to locate your rising sign which will give you a more complete look of your birth chart. If the sun sign is who you are at the core, the rising sign represents how you see things and how other people see you. The rising sign is said to show your true self or the self that others see first before they get to know the you that you likely only show yourself.
I can’t say how true this is, but I feel like I show my sun sign often as such and the rising sign with my sun is just a beautiful blend. I think we will all feel this way, but my signs happen to match inclinations as they are both curious and inquisitive. So, what’s your rising sign? if you know it go ahead and chime in below in the comments section and let us know what makes you so different. We want to know.
