A Strong Love Letter to the Community
Black is more than a color. It is the culture of a strong, dignified people once you remember.
This is a love letter to my younger, current and older self that will never cross but will somehow all meet here. The intention is to show my love for the life I have come to know through the eyes of the Black American Experience which tends to be different from all others. Our culture is indeed unique in that we are the “moment” and what we do as a global minority has been so monumental to so many. I share with you my little corner of candid conversations about the Black American Culture, History and Experience.

Health is wealth and it’s never too early or too late to start taking better care of yourself. This series will discuss the history and the culture of Black American Health and how it as affected by more than just “diet” but an entire socioeconomic system. Few people consider health and income but you should. Income is often a direct indicator of access to healthy options in regard to activities and food.
